Signs of Fall

The leaves are (sort of - evidence below) starting to fall from our trees in the front yard and the heat isn't quite so sweltering, so that is enough for me to start taking out bits of Fall decor!


I must have been a strange kid because I used to hate Fall when I was little.  The colors bugged me because they weren't pink and purple and I didn't like that it meant Summer was over but Christmas wasn't here yet.  Now everything about Fall I can't get enough of!  I have been pinning like crazy to get inspired and knew we needed a few touches.  Even though we still have 19 days until the first day of Fall (the day after my Daddy's birthday!) I thought it was time to welcome it!

Now early-decorating-haters, don't worry.  I didn't go balls out, but I did grab a few items from my stash.  A few pumpkins here or there...and one Halloween-ready Boo.  Sunflowers came from my neighbors garden - so perfect!  Don't worry, she gave them to me.  We didn't steal.


I did grab a glitzy super Halloween-y pumpkin, too.  So sue me.



My favorite is the porch.  As we all know, I love a cute front porch!  We picked up some mums and I put out my first ever deco mesh wreath (that started the whole obsession) with added ribbon and love!

Loving these mums!  We went to both Home Depot and Lowe's and didn't see any we loved and that were the right shape, then went to a local nursery and found these pretties!  Also love to support a small business!



Hooray for decorating season!!
