I love hosting parties in our home.

This year we had a great White Elephant themed Christmas party, and I wanted to make an original decoration. Recently I had received a box of Hershey's kisses from Influenster, and I challenged myself to make something new and exciting. After seeing so many cute kissing balls on Pinterest, I decided to make one with Hershey's Kisses. How perfect for our Christmas party - a kissing ball made out of Kisses!

During a trip to the grocery store, I saw a $2 ornament ball, and it became the inspiration for my kissing ball. I went home, put the kids down for naps, and busted out the glue gun.

I kept the project simple, since I only had nap time to finish my kissing ball. I simply hot glued Hershey's Kisses all around the outside of the ornament, and then I filled in around the kisses with mini white pom poms.

Once the ball was complete, I snipped small twigs off our Christmas tree and hot glued the twigs on the top and bottom of the kissing ball. Then I added a small red ribbon the the bottom to finish the look.

We snapped a picture of each couple smooching under the kissing ball before they left the party.

It was fun to see everyone enjoy some Christmas cheer.  (=

Unfortunately, after everyone left, we realized there was no one left to take  picture of me and Johnny. We tried to take some pictures on our own, but the selfies weren't very good. A couple days later we set up the camera and tried for another picture. We got the pic! But we're wearing tshirts instead of our cute Christmas party clothes. . . oh well. It was fun to kiss under our new decoration anyway.
